  • I am looking forward to reading out minivans. I think it is time that I brought down and got one.
  • Have at 'em: http://motormouths.com/styles/...

And let us know what you end up buying!
  • Thank you for the link, I will

Every new car available in the US? Mercedes-Benz G550?
  • Whenever possible, yes. If there aren't enough new reviews by credible critics, a particular model won't appear in the results. As soon as there are at least four new reviews of a vehicle from among our 47 publication sources, then those reviews -- and that model -- go live. The G-Wagon hasn't been reviewed much of late, sadly. Blame the critics!

Hey guys, nice site. Found you via Thrillist.

Small point, but you show the Ferrari F430 as being available only as a coupe. There is also a convertible available, called the Spider (it's reviewed in one of your featured reviews). Although you show the Scuderia as being available in both coupe and convertible models, the Scud is a coupe only.
  • We're on it! Thanks for the fact-check!
  • forgot one thing....a future development might be an ability to review earlier model cars, say a 1998 Chevy Blazer instead of just the brand new Blazer. This might be a little harder to accomplish but I definitely think it's worth checking into, I believe it would dramatically increase traffic as there would be more pertinent data for more unique visitors.
  • Well, we have upwards of 12,000 reviews and scores in our system now, including reviews from as far back as the 2007 model year. (We keep all this to track the statistical changes in scores among manufacturers and models, and also publications.) We'll definitely open up that archive at some point, and allow shoppers considering a used vehicle to see what critics originally thought of it.
  • Wow, just read about this site in an article from the Times, and I gotta say I am pleasantly surprised! Quick and easy to navigate, provides the essential info and the review averages about what I would rate a few of the vehicles I looked up.

All in all, good work to Mr. John Tayman. I WILL be back when it comes time for me to pick up a new car.
  • Thanks Scott! We're happy you like the site.

This is a fantastic site, I waste a lot of time clicking over to various review sites to read up on the cars I'm interested in. I find MotorMouths to be very usable and well laid-out - good work here, I hope it catches on.

Jeez I sound like a pitch man. Sorry for the lameness - I really like the site though.
  • No worries -- pitch away! We're glad you like it.

    "...for every new car"

Really? I think you should specify "every new car sold in the US". MotorMouths has a pretty tight lip when it comes to Renault, Citroen, Peugeot, Opel etc.
  • Yep, at the moment we concentrate only on cars available in the U.S. But we'll be rolling out international editions soon -- be patient!
